The matura is stressful, but good preparation turns that stress into confidence. The key is a plan: realistic, spread over time and matched to your weak spots.
When to start?
Ideal matura preparation starts 12–18 months before the exam. If you have less time, do not panic, but start immediately.
Step 1: Analyse the requirements
Download the current core curriculum from the CKE (cke.edu.pl). Mark the topics you know well and those that need work. That is your road map.
Step 2: A weekly plan
Spread the material over weeks. One subject a day, rotating every few days. Do not study everything at once: that is a recipe for burnout.
Step 3: Papers from previous years
Nothing replaces working on real matura papers. Solve them in conditions close to the exam, without a phone, with a timer.
Step 4: Identify gaps
After every paper, analyse your mistakes. It is not about the score, it is about understanding why you made a mistake and how to avoid it next time.
Step 5: Tutoring for weak points
If working on your own is not enough, consider tutoring in specific topics: not the whole subject. It is more effective and cheaper.
The week before the matura
Do not learn new material. Revise what you already know, sleep 8 hours, eat normally. Your brain needs rest, not a last minute of study.
