Questions about tutoring for the eighth-grade exam
Ideally from September–October of grade 8. With 2 lessons a week you get 6–7 months of regular work in all three subjects.
Each tutor sets their own rate for 60 minutes and you see it on their profile before booking. You will find the current price ranges on the prices page. There is no subscription, you pay only for the lessons you book.
It depends on the student’s weak spots. Start with a diagnosis: many children have gaps in maths, which is the hardest. In Polish and English, 1 lesson a week is often enough. After the first lesson the tutor will advise on a plan.
Online lessons give you what in-person ones do: the tutor can share a whiteboard, materials and exercises in real time. On top of that there is no commuting and you can choose a tutor from all over Poland.
The tutor diagnoses gaps and builds a plan from the basics. Together you solve tasks, the tutor explains topics that are unclear, and then you practise on exam papers from previous years.
