My approach to teaching English is built on one core principle: language is a tool for communication, not a subject to be memorized. For students at the beginner level, I establish a solid foundation in essential grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation. However, my goal is never to keep students stuck in textbooks. Once the basics are in place, I shift the focus entirely to real-world, practical communication. My lessons are conversational and student-led. Instead of dry grammar drills, we discuss topics that matter to the student, their career, travel plans, hobbies, or current events. I use authentic materials like news articles, podcast clips, and YouTube videos to expose students to natural, everyday English as it is actually spoken. I believe that mistakes are not failures but essential steps in the learning process. In my sessions, I create a safe and supportive environment where students feel comfortable taking risks and speaking freely. I provide gentle, constructive feedback that helps them improve without breaking their confidence or interrupting the flow of conversation. By simulating real-life scenarios like ordering in a restaurant, giving a presentation, or handling a workplace email. I ensure that my students can immediately apply what they learn. This practical approach builds not only their language skills but also their confidence to use English naturally and effectively in their daily lives.
